News Burst: Dell in XML launch - exclusive
Dell Computer is expected to announce the relaunch of its Web sites across the world this week, according to sources familiar with the matter.
The new sites will use XML (extensible markup language) and aim to give Dell's hundreds of thousands of Web pages across the globe an identical look and feel. One of the fast-growing computer company's claims to fame is its adoption of the Net for selling PCs direct to consumers and corporations. It recently surpassed Compaq as the UK's largest computer seller.
