News Burst: Microsoft 'beat up' Compaq over QuickTime
Compaq officials were too afraid of Microsoft to bundle Apple's QuickTime multimedia software with their products, according to emails presented in the Microsoft antitrust trial this morning.
"The folks in Redmond beat me up for it, but also quietly tell me they are impressed," Compaq executive David Obelcz told an Apple executive in an email.
