News Burst: dips its toe into WAP waters launch a service allowing users to buy tickets to live events from WAP-enabled devices launched its first WAP-enabled application Wednesday, a service allowing users to locate and purchase tickets to live events in any country from WAP-enabled mobile devices with's Wireless Live Events Calendar version 1.0.

This marks the beginning of the company's plans to offer a broader array of wireless services.
