News Burst: New date set for MS-DOJ trial
US district Judge Thomas Penfield Jackson Thursday agreed to postpone the start of the Microsoft V U.S. Department of Justice antitrust trial to Sept. 23 -- two weeks and a day later than originally scheduled.
The rescheduling, which came at the request of both sides in the trial, was necessary in large part because of delays from an earlier attempt to settle disputes related to pretrial testimony from Microsoft officials.
