News Burst: Open Source pie sale greets Gates

A group of Massachusetts Institute of Technology students decided to use Microsoft Corp. chairman Bill Gates' appearance at the school as a fundraiser for the open source movement.

The students set up a table outside the auditorium where Gates is scheduled to speak to sell 'open source pies.' They plan to give the recipe away for free for people to change and improve. Gates, who was hit with a pie by a prankster last year, is speaking at MIT as apart of the 35th anniversary of the school's computer centre.
