News Burst: Oracle releases System Sizer 3.0
Oracle has launched its next generation tool for sizing database servers.
The Oracle System Sizer Release 3.0 is designed to automate and simplify processes that implement Oracle-based applications on Intel-based servers running Windows NT.
System sizing is an important step in developing any database application. Improperly sized systems can impact service levels for systems that are too small. "The Oracle System Sizer is an important component of our strategy to make Oracle databases easy to sell and support," said Kevin Walsh, vice president of the Intel Technologies Division at Oracle. The tool is available for download free of charge through Oracle's Alliance Online Web site.
