News Burst: Xeon chips launch today
Intel Corp. will unveil three Xeon chips today aimed at high-performance workstations and servers. The fastest chip is expected to run at 550 megahertz.
Costing between $800 and $3,000 (£490 - £1,830), the chips underline Intel's desire to remain in control at the top end of the market as margins on the desktop shrink.
