Next generation credit cards under development
Researchers at Kent University have unveiled technology for what they believe is "a new generation of credit and security cards".
The researchers have developed a system for storing digital photographs on magnetic strips and smartcards. This will enable instant and fool-proof visual identification at ATMs, points of sale and access control areas.
