Nexus One getting Android 2.3 Gingerbread update soon

Good news for HTC Nexus One owners. A Gingerbread treat is definitely on the way for you...soon.

The Android 2.3 update for Google's retired smartphone is due out in the "coming weeks." Not exactly precise, unfortunately.

Perhaps it's just time to move on to the Nexus S with Gingerbread preloaded. Are any of you anxiously awaiting the arrival of Android 2.3 on the Nexus One?
