NICTA brings tech heads to parliament: Video

Summary:National ICT Australia (NICTA) brought its annual Techfest show to the Australian Parliament House this year, showcasing the best innovations the research organisation has to offer.

The government-funded National ICT Australia (NICTA) research organisation took its annual Techfest show to Parliament House in Canberra this year.

The showcase is setup each year to show off some of the ground-breaking research that has been taking place within NICTA, ranging from nanotechnology, medical, motoring, and social media research. The event was visited by school children, media, and a number of politicians, including Prime Minister Julia Gillard.

ZDNet took some time out to catch up with a number of the researchers who explained some of the research they had been involved in.
