The Nintendo DSi XL, which was announced last year and will be getting its European debut on March 5, now has an official date in North America. Finally!

Nintendo's latest handheld gaming device will be available in North American stores on March 28 for $189.99, before taxes and shipping. It will be available in burgundy (as pictured above) and bronze, which I have not seen images of yet, but I would sure love to get a look.

The DSi XL is getting a lot of hype because its screens are 93% larger than its predecessor, the Nintendo DS Lite, with dual 4.2-inch displays. Hot.

Nintendo slipped in a few title announcements as well, including America's Test Kitchen: Let's Get Cooking and WarioWare: D.I.Y. for DS also on March 28, and Super Mario Galaxy 2 for Nintendo Wii on May 23.
