We have known that there was going to be a big Nokia announcements in London today after they advertised their Nokia: GoPlay event. Five new Nokia devices were announced at the event, including the recently rumored Nokia N81 (standard and 8GB model) and Nokia N95 8GB devices. The two other new devices are the 5310 and 5610 XpressMusic phones.

Nokia N81 and N81 8GB: The N81 (PDF data sheet for N81 and N81 8GB) is a gaming centric Nseries device that has buttons optimized for mobile gaming. The display slides up to reveal a phone keypad and like the other Nseries devices it is focused on multimedia as well with a 2 megapixel camera, music player buttons on the face, new 3D multimedia menu, Navi wheel, Bluetooth with A2DP support, and stereo FM radio. The device supports the N-Gage experience for an optimized gaming experience too. The 8GB model has an internal 8GB drive (specifics were not released) and other model has a microSD card slot.

Nokia N95 8GB: The Nokia N95 8GB (PDF data sheet) offers some improvements to an already outstanding S60 multimedia computer with an 8GB drive (again no specifics on the drive), black color, raised multimedia buttons, and larger capacity battery (1200 mAh vs 950 mAh). It still has the 5 megapixel camera, integrated GPS, 2-way slider, WiFi, Bluetooth, and more.

Nokia 5310 XpressMusic device: The 5310 runs Series 40 3rd Edition and is optimized for music playback off of a microSD card. It has an FM stereo with RDS support, 3.5mm headset jack, dedicated music keys, Bluetooth radio with A2DP support, and a 2 megapixel digital camera.

Nokia 5610 XpressMusic device: The 5610 also runs Series 40 3rd Edition and is optimized for music playback off of a microSD card. It has an FM stereo with RDS support, 3.5mm headset jack, dedicated music keys, Bluetooth radio with A2DP support, and a 3 megapixel digital camera with video capture support. It also has a slider design.

To add music to these devices, Nokia also announced the Nokia Music Store. The Nokia Music Store will be opening in Europe and Asia and offering both single track purchases and subscription services. You will be able to select music using the N81 or N95 8GB or from your PC. Tracks will be delivered in 192Kbps audio WMA format so they will work with Windows Media Player and the coming Nokia Music PC client.
