Yesterday, gremlins either stomped my blog page or they laid waste to a ZDNet advertiser (see below).

An Ad I Actually Read

I remember some old Marketing sage telling me in college that some of the best advertising or marketing is a mistake. He told me how those pages that were stuck together (or not cut correctly) in some newspapers and magazines are often the highest read and remembered items in the publication.

So, PayPal, if this was a temporary glitch, you might think about making it permanent as it caused me to read the ad - the whole ad. And, for you marketers out there, see if you can make some web ads stick together.
