Scouting out a place in the market, Nox Audio poses its new Scout in-ear headphones as perfect for nearly every gadget available.

Compatible with a long list of devices (i.e. gaming consoles, smartphones, etc.) sporting a standard 3.5mm stereo jack, the Scout headphones are basically an all-purpose set, but with a special focus on "active lifestyles."

The design notes are there to support that, such as the flat and squarish cables to reduce tangling, the "world's smallest" send/end button, and flexible silicone fins to secure the earbud in place. Nothing is more annoying when working out at the gym than when your headphones constantly pop out of your ear.

As for what truly matters most (audio quality), Nox Audio has integrated 6mm balanced armature drivers for clearer bass and sound overall. And if you want to use these in-earphones with your smartphone, there is an inline 3mm electrets omni-directional microphone.

The Scout headset is available for $79.99. That includes a carrying case and some spare ear cushions in various sizes.
