NSW wants new events CIO

in brief Communities NSW, the state's department responsible for events, programs and exhibitions, is looking for a new chief information officer (CIO).

The CIO's future project load would include overseeing the implementation of electronic service delivery for Communities NSW, as well as playing an active part in executive decision making.

The CIO would also be responsible for managing relationships between Communities NSW and its major stakeholders.

Communities NSW collaborates with over 24 different agencies and organisations, participating in planning major sporting events, special exhibitions and culturally significant sites including the Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge and NSW parklands.
