Every day ZDNet UK News will bring you two Nuggets -- one just before lunch and the other just before you leave the office. So if you want the latest news on the weird and wonderful gadgets that bless our beloved industry, bookmark ZDNet UK News -- and check out our Nuggets, twice a day.

At the end of the month we will provide a roundup of our favourite gadgets which you could win in our monthly Nuggets competition.

Would you like a diary with your MP3 sir?

The latest portable MP3 player to hit the shelves will be Varo Vision's Clikman. This hopes to challenge the likes of the Rio player by styling itself as a Digital Pocket Solution (DPS). That means it will store and play MP3 files, act as a personal organiser as well as a digital voice recorder.

All the standard organiser features such as alarm and scheduling are present, as well as Outlook Express. Files are stored on 40MB Iomega Clik cards which are bigger and cheaper than the cards used in the Rio. You'll be able to store up to three hours of music, or 10 in combination with the Click card. Files can be downloaded through the parallel port or the hipper USB. All these additional features, including an internal speaker and mike, mean extra bulk - the Clikman is 60x110x30mm and weighs 200g. No price is available at the moment but it should be available any day now.
