The key to Palm Pilot typing

Although the Graffiti hand writing recognition on the Palm Pilot is pretty good, you probably get a bit sick of using the stylus for typing out long emails and notes. Luckily the folk at Landware have come to your rescue with the GoType! Keyboard, an attachable keyboard for the Palm Pilot family. The keyboard, which is about twice the size of a Palm Pilot and weighs 14oz, has keys about the same size as small notebooks to allow touch typing and six programmable function buttons. Once you've installed the software from your Mac or PC, you just slot your Palm into the keyboard's built-in dock and type away. The keyboard comes with a pull out stand to keep it steady and needs no batteries, taking its power from the Palm. Available now via the Web site for $79.95.

RioGeo 2 drag and drop for MP3

The latest version of RioGeo, the cool utility that allows you to upload and download any type of file to your Rio MP3 player, has been released. There are some good additional features in version 2, which include a progress bar and multiple drop and drag. File speed has been increased by 5-10 percent and several bugs have been sorted out. If you've got a Rio make sure you get this programme. It's available now for free from the Web site.
