Having any problems with your computer lately, particularly with the fan? Well, if you have NVIDIA 196.75 WHQL drivers installed, that's probably it.

NVIDIA has yanked the latest GPU drivers from their website (which were posted recently) after reports started pouring in about damaged/dead graphics cards and fan failure. Apparently this problem can even kill the whole computer.

Also interesting is that users playing Warcraft 3, World of Warcraft and StarCraft 2 Beta seem to be more affected than others with this issue.

The NVIDIA page with those drivers has since been taken down and just pops up a "Page Not Found" message down. Anyone who has installed these drivers are advised to go back to the 196.21 WHQL driver release.
