The executive agency responsible for implementing Australia's oceans policy has withdrawn an information technology services request for tender after being brought into the Department of Environment and Heritage as a division.

The National Oceans Office said it was temporarily withdrawing its request for tender for the provision of information technology help desk services and services due to the post-election restructure.

The tender has been withdrawn until further notice, "but may be re-issued with modifications," the Oceans Office said.

The National Oceans Office is charged with the implementation and further development of Australia's oceans policy. The request for tender had encompassed a range of information technology services, including help desk support for its head office, interstate and regional locations.
