Olivetti UK slashes desktop pricing
Olivetti Computers Worldwide has slashed desktop prices by up to 27 per cent in the UK today, but for a limited period only.
The entry-level Modulo 166 desktop, with 16MB of memory and 2.1GB hard disk drive will now start at £441, a reduction of 27 per cent off the original price of £606.
The desktop and mini-tower PCs come preloaded with Intel LANDesk Client Manager, for network management, which users have a choice of operating system, including Windows 95.
However, the special pricing only applies to PCs ordered by resellers before 30 January 1998.
