ScreenDigest analyzed the download-to-own offering of US-based CinemaNow, which allows customers to keep the downloaded video for a selected number of titles. Feature titles, surprisingly, comprised only 44.4% of CinemaNow download-to-own sales, with 20.4% taken over by television shows and 17.9% by documentaries. 10.2% of download-to-own sales were in the music category.
