Oracle, EMC set up joint support center

Database seller Oracle and storage specialist EMC announced they will set up a Joint Service Center with staff from both companies to provide support to their mutual customers, the companies said Monday. There are more than 20,000 systems using products from both companies.

The support center will be located in Hopkinton, Mass., where EMC has its headquarters, the companies said. The center will allow engineers to replicate customers' environments to track down problems. --Stephen Shankland, Special to ZDNet News
