Orange has introduced a new range of data tariffs aimed at business customers.

The new data rates, known as Business Everywhere, allow Orange business customers to choose the amount of data, length of contract and an optional device to access the service, the company said on Tuesday.

Customers can choose between 1GB, 3GB or 10GB usage allowances on contracts of 30 days, 12 months or two years.

Business Everywhere is available as a stand-alone package or as an add-on to existing contracts and can be taken with or without the inclusion of a new device. Customers can choose between a dongle, smartphone, tablet or netbook.

As with most mobile contracts, signing up for a longer commitment reduces the cost to the end-user.

A 30-day rolling contract ranges from £12.50 for 1GB of usage to £35 for 10GB. Increasing the commitment to 12 months reduces the prices to £10 and £30, while a two year contract drops those costs further still, to £7.50 and £25, respectively.

The 12 and 24-month options are inclusive of a dongle or datacard. Plans that include a tablet or netbook are only available on a 24-month commitment, charged at £22.50 for a 2GB allowance.

Out of bundle charges are priced at 4p per MB inside the UK and £2.55 per MB in Europe. Data roaming outside of Europe bumps this up to £5.50 per MB.
