Orkut rolling out much needed update

Orkut has started showing it's new face to a select few people -- from the screenshots, it is a facelift that I'm sure Orkut users will welcome. I doubt a new look will ever be enough to give Facebook or MySpace a run for its money, but it should reinforce usage in Brazil and other countries where it is "the" social network site.

The color scheme hasn't changed, but they added some nice rounded corners, new icons and a fresh feel to the site while keeping true to it's roots. Check to see if you are one of the lucky users with the new interface.
