Pacific Internet voted best Asian ISP for second year running

SINGAPORE, 7 June 2000 -- Asia's leading Internet service provider, Pacific Internet Limited (NASDAQ: PCNTF) earnedtop honors at Telecom Asia's annual Readers' Choice Awards 2000 by clinching the "Best Asian Internet ServiceProvider (ISP)" title for a second year running.This year's other nominees in the best-of-breed ISP category were Starhub and Cable & Wireless-Hong Kong Telecom.

SINGAPORE, 7 June 2000 -- Asia's leading Internet service provider, Pacific Internet Limited (NASDAQ: PCNTF) earned top honors at Telecom Asia's annual Readers' Choice Awards 2000 by clinching the "Best Asian Internet Service Provider (ISP)" title for a second year running.

This year's other nominees in the best-of-breed ISP category were Starhub and Cable & Wireless-Hong Kong Telecom.

"This is our second award in as many years in the regional ISP category. Not only is it a great honor to be recognized by peers within the industry, but it also tells us that Pacific Internet is on the right track in its growth path," said Mr. Lee, Chief Executive Officer, Pacific Internet.

Telecom Asia's Readers' Choice Awards are given annually to companies voted best in the Asia Pacific telecommunications industry.

The poll asked 20,000 Telecom Asia readers spanning over 11 countries, including the six countries in which Pacific Internet operates, to select their preferred service providers.
