Handheld maker Palm has rescheduled its PalmSource conference for Feb. 5 to Feb. 8 in San Jose, Calif. The fifth annual U.S. developers conference was originally set for October, but Palm postponed the event following the terror attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. The company said it also intends to use the conference to release more information about its plans to transform its Palm operating system business into a separate subsidiary. --Richard Shim, Special to ZDNet News
