It was just earlier this week when Pandigital's Novel was already being recalled due to a firmware problem. Now it looks like the fix is in as Pandigital is issuing a downloadable update.
The device was recalled from Kohl's and yanked from the retailer's online site after it was discovered the 7-inch e-book reader suffered from some software problems.
Users can either return the device to stores for a refund, or try to do an at-home fix with the firmware update. The download is available on Pandigital's site for those of you who have had issues with the new device.
