Panther ready to pounce with PowerPC
Hemel Hempstead, Herts.-based direct sales PC vendor Panther Computers is running its new line of PowerPC-based desktops through final tests before their launch within the next few weeks.
The 200MHz 603 PowerPC-based machines will run NT 4.0 and combine an AT motherboard, EIDE hard drive and PCI graphics. "It will be a very well-specified desktop and is very sharply priced," said a spokesman for Panther.
