A new ISO image of PCLinuxOS, 2010.12, was released at the end of last week. This is even a bit ahead of schedule, since they generally release a new installed every three months, and the last one was 2010.10.

Please keep in mind that PCLinuxOS is a "rolling distribution", and updates are constantly pushed out for it. You really only need this newly released image for doing new installations; if you have a running PCLinusOS 2010.xx system, you can get to this point by simply making sure you have all released patches and updates installed.

I installed the new image on a couple of netbooks that I was preparing over the weekend, and of course there was no problem with the installation or operation.
