Philco PC 1950s-style desktop just a concept now, hopefully reality soon

The retro look has certainly worked for digital cameras lately, and now desktop designers are giving it a shot with the Philco PC. Designed by Pasadena, CA-based SchultzeWORKS, the computer's look was inspired by the 1954 Philco Predicta television. But it's specs are modern, as it runs on Windows 7. I especially love the typewriter-style keyboard.  I've never really found orange to work on a computer (isn't that one of the reasons Apple stopped issuing those candy-colored iMacs?), but I'm liking it here. Not everyone is going to go for a 1950s-looking computer, and it certainly can't be mass-produced for businesses and schools. But it's refreshing to see innovative designs in the desktop world, especially when it's not just coming from Apple. There are no details on release dates, prices or where it will be available first, but I certainly hope it's soon. Until then, the designers have issued a video to stave off our appetites until then.
