Pink iPod - Guess Valentine's Day is closer that I'd thought

Earlier this morning the Apple online store was down and when it came back up my eyes were assaulted by pink.  Pink iPods that is.  I guess Valentine's Day is a lot closer that I'd thought it was.

Personally I'm disillusioned with the whole "now in a new color" thing, but Apple products are part style and part function, so adding new colors to the range is important - and what better time of year to add pink to the iPod lineup.  However, it's interesting to see how the iPod line up has changed.  When I got my 8GB iPod nano (the largest capacity model at the time) for Christmas '06 the only color available was black (maybe Steve Jobs had taken a leaf out of Henry Ford's book).
