Police arrest alleged Lulzsec spokesperson

Police have arrested a 19-year-old-man in the Shetland Islands under suspicion of being 'Topiary', a spokesperson for the Anonymous hacking group.The man was arrested on Wednesday, and is currently being transported to a central London police station, the Metropolitan Police said in a statement on Wednesday.

"The man arrested is believed to be linked to an ongoing international investigation in to the criminal activity of the so-called 'hacktivist' groups Anonymous and LulzSec, and uses the online nickname 'Topiary'," said the Metropolitan Police Central eCrime Unit (PCeU) statement.

A residential address in Lincolnshire has also been raided, and a 17-year-old boy is being interviewed under caution, police added.

The PCeU has been involved in a number of arrests of alleged Anonymous suspects, including a teenager arrested on Tuesday last week as part of an operation with the FBI and Dutch police.
