Post-it Notes trademark threatens Office release
3M is asking Microsoft to take note of its Post-it Notes trademark.
Microsoft plans a sticky memo feature in the imminent Office 97 that 3M says infringes on its famous trademark and is asking for the feature to be removed in the shipping version of the product.
3M last year released a version of its Post-it Notes as pop-up software.
