Microsoft Corp. released a privacy-enhanced version of Internet Explorer 5.5 that allows the user to limit third-party cookies. The browser can now be set to differentiate between cookies that originate from a Web server you're intentionally visiting and cookies that originate from other Web sites that provide advertising or services.
