QuickTime VR not supported on iPad

QuickTime VR support is missing in the iPad. In addition to not being able to view them, you can't sideload them via iTunes either. Do you care?

http://edcommunity.apple.com/ali/galleryfiles/12082/QTVR_logo.gifIf you visit Apple's QuickTime VR gallery on the latest version of Safari on a Mac, you can view them.  Of course if you try to open one in QuickTime, you need to have version 7 installed.  If you visit that same page (www.apple.com/quicktime/gallery/cubicvr) from the iPad you cannot cannot view QTVR.

If you have QTVR movies in iTunes, you will get a "not supported" message if you try to upload it to the iPad.  So in addition to not being able to play Flash, the iPad can't play VR's either. It would be nice if VR's could be played back in HTML5, but it doesn't appear possible currently. If you know of a way, post it in the TalkBack below.
