Readers: No way is Skype worth $3 billion

Telecom and networking site Light Reading is running a three-question Skype Hype poll.

At 9 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time this morning, the poll had 83 responses.

According to the poll, most respondents think that Skype is overhyped and overvalued- with the main value being their customer list rather than the technology.

Keep in mind this poll is not scientific, and being a poll conducted by a site with a technologically sophisticated clickership, (just invented that one, not bad, eh?) a bit of anti-Skype elitist bias may be showing thru the numbers.
