RIM gifts BlackBerry owners with BBM mobile gifting

Summary:RIM is giving BlackBerry users the power to instantly gift a mobile app using the BlackBerry Messanger (BBM) system.

RIM is giving BlackBerry users the power to instantly gift a mobile app using the BlackBerry Messanger (BBM) system.

Only one subscriber per account (i.e. a parent if there are kids on a family plan) will have that authority, and payment for these gifts (as well as airtime and additional services) will be made using carrier billing systems.

However, a release date for this feature hasn't been revealed yet. Perhaps it will just show up as a surprise in a future software update.
