in brief The New South Wales Roads and Traffic Authority has suspended a tender process calling for an SAP CRM upgrade, citing the need to "re-evaluate requirements".

The tender included moving from the current Crystal Reports/SAP CRM 4.0 system to SAP CRM 7.0 and replacement of the SAP asset procurement module.

Tender respondents were only by invitation and included AXON solutions, Fujitsu, SAP and Wipro. Applications were stated to close 1 September, 2009, however were put on hold, according to an RTA spokesperson, as the "RTA is re-evaluating its requirements".

The RTA committed $2 million to an SAP upgrade of its financial systems in August 2008, awarding contracts to SAP specialist company Supply Chain Consulting and Presence of IT.
