15/06/2001 According to Bugtraq, wireless keyboards are not the most secure devices on the planet. You'll find this hard to believe, but apparently using a device that transmits every keystroke you type over the wireless leaves you open to malicious interception! Imagine that! This won't be the last. Now that Bluetooth is actually working, there won't be much of a delay between it hitting the market and the first "hackers stole my credit card number while I was on the 10:13 to Penge" sob story. And we'll see reruns of all the cellphone nonsense -- health scares, portable jamming devices, 'are these toys poisoning the minds of our children' and so on. At least the journalism will be easy enough --cut and paste, here we come.
