Sages and Dunces 

Projects fail because people are stupid, no doubt. But it is seldom the case that team members are stupid. Rather, management is ignorant, forgetting that team members have specific skills that can be relied upon only in specific domains. While a secretary may be bad at programming, the programmer is probably bad at typing texts.
