Samsung will extend its UK product range next year with its own branded car. The Korean giant is also launching a 12-speed CD-ROM drive at the Electronic Retail Trade show in Birmingham next week, where it will also show prototypes of its DVD-ROM drive and TFT flat-screen monitors.

This will be the first time Samsung has exhibited its entire range of products, from TVs and microwave ovens to disc drives and PC products, since it restructured into business function divisions and away from specific product divisions, a move also made by Apple Computer last week.
