Samsung introduces 32GB microSD memory card, 64GB moviNAND flash device

Samsung has just come out with a couple of new high-density storage options: a 64 GB moviNAND embedded memory device plus a 32 GB microSD memory card.

The 64GB moviNAND flash device includes six 30nm-class 32Gb MLC NAND chips and a controller - all in something only 1.4mm-thick. Other size options for this card are 32 GB, 16 GB, 8 GB and 4 GB densities.

Then there's the new 32GB microSD card, which features eight 32Gb NAND components and a card controller. Apparently the 1mm-thick memory card has double the capacity of the previously-highest density memory cards on the market.

While the 64 GB moviNAND is already in mass production, the new 32 GB microSD card should see mass production in February.
