Semiconductor sales grew 23.4% in 2004

Worldwide semiconductor sales grew 23.4% to $218.5 bln in 2004 despite a significant slowdown in the second half of the year, according to Gartner. The overall growth rate is smaller than the 25.6% Gartner forecast at the beginning of the year.
