SketchUp snapped up by Google

According to the official Google blog, a new purchase has been made.  The software company @LastSoftware creates a product called "SketchUp" -- allowing people to create 3D models quite easily.

This will be a cool addition to Google Earth when it is added -- the statue of liberty example gives you an idea what to expect if the earth was mapped in 3D.
