Smartphone purchasing considerations to help you this holiday season

We put together our Holiday Guide on Smartphones to help you see what some of the great devices are available this holiday season. Airwide posted a press release that presents some considerations you will want to consider as you try to figure out which smartphone is best for you. As I evaluate and post reviews on mobile phones here on the blog, I try to give you a complete understanding of the device and how it works for me. Smartphone purchases are personal and there will never be a single device that is the best for everyone.

In addition to the considerations that Chris detailed in his press release, make sure you know what the minimum monthly charges (voice and data) will be and whether or not the data has any consumption limits (measured data plans). Also, be aware that you generally have 14 to 30 days to try out a device with the option to return or exchange it if you buy one from a wireless carrier. This saved me as I tried the Bold, then moved onto the HTC Fuze with much better Exchange support.
