SMS share in mobile data to drop from 90% in 2003 to 40% in 2008

Frost & Sullivan expects a significant drop in the contribution of SMS toward mobile data revenues from 90% in 2003 to 40% in 2008. In 2008, MMS is expected to achieve a 65% penetration rate, creating 210 mln active users and EUR 10 bln in revenue for mobile operators.
