At the Web 2.0 Expo, Adobe employees gave a demo showing off a prototype version of a tablet running Android OS, and Adobe Air. What struck me is how well and smooth the application they were demoing seemed.

One beef I've had with Android in the past was the responsiveness of applications -- they really don't hold a candle to most iPhone apps. Those who have used both cannot argue that iPhone has superior scrolling capabilities (both between screens, and through list boxes and such) over the stock Android operating system.

This app, though, appears to feel extremely fluid. The person giving the demo is swiping through screens, and it's easy to see that there is absolutely no noticeable lag.

If this is in fact what Adobe Air on android is going to perform like, we're in for a treat with Froyo (Android 2.2). I am definitely looking forward to it!
