If you live in the Northeast and are looking for an alternative way to get to work this morning (is this being called "Snowpacalypse 2010" this time?), check around your house for some old laptops, string 'em together and you got yourself a snowboard! No, really...

I guess people can get pretty bored when they're snowed in, and then this happens. A couple of creative kids in Austria have fashioned this snowboard, made by stringing together a couple of old PowerBook G4s.

Hopefully these computers were just old and useless by this point, instead of these guys ruining a pair of notebooks just to look sleek cool by using some titanium Apple laptops.

Gizmodo has a video of this work of art being crafted, and if you're curious in bidding on the snowboard, it's still available on eBay for €99 ($134). They're only shipping to Austria and Germany, but maybe if you're nice (or the only bidder), you could still win.

You probably won't win the Halfpipe at the Winter Olympics with this thing (well, maybe Shaun White could), but you'd certainly get a lot of on-lookers.
