Software and services added 30K jobs in 2004

A study by American Electronics Association, which looked at employment state by state, said slightly more than 30,000 jobs were added in the software-services industry in 2004. However, high-tech manufacturing lost 32,000 jobs between 2003 and 2004, with a net industry loss of 25,000 high-tech jobs from total employment of 5.
