Sony has two new powerful headsets, the DR-GA500 and DR-GA200, directed towards the gaming world, falling under the "Ultimate Weapon" series. Sounds serious.

Both products are equipped with 40mm drive units for improved bass and frequencies, as well as a compact boom microphone. Sony has also implemented a "triple-enfolding" design with extra ventilation and less pressure on the ear so gamers can wear these headsets longer and more comfortably.

The DR-GA500 steps things up a bit with a Dolby Pro Logic IIx decoder and 7.1 channel 3D surround effects, which is processed through an external unit (pictured below). Sony doesn't share much about the DR-GA200, but it won't be using the extra box.

Neither pricing or a launch date hasn't been announced yet.
